One of my absolutely favourite veggie this time shredding down is PUMPKIN…OMG yum yum yum. It seriously taste like the sweetest thing you’ve ever tasted. I have never cooked with it before and just thought that sweet potato was ‘the thing you eat’ when you are a bodybuilder Well you learn something new every day, right? And I’m definitely in it to learn and be fucking good at it hahaha…
So instead of just putting in my mouth I like to know WHAT I’m fuelling this body with and I didn’t really know the difference between those two vegetables.
For two pretty similar looking specimens there sure is a big difference when it comes to calories and sugars. So if fat loss is high on the agenda, which it is when you are prepping for muscle competitions, then I am definitely concerned with sugar calories. I love this healthy lifestyle ‘thang’, you really find out where to get your sugars from instead of cake, ice-cream and lollies that I would normally grab hahaha… White sugar is the enemy and it will store fat, but damn it taste good haha.
Stay strong out there – what ever your goal might be – and remember, what you put in your mouth now is next months body.
